How do you want to live, knowing you are going to die?
Happy Ever After is a compassionate, holistic end-of-life support, care and planning partner for anyone who wants to prepare for their death, at any stage of life.
End-of-life doulas help the dying and their loved ones transition from life to death. We will support you holistically in navigating the complexities of life and death, providing resources, guidance, companionship, as well as emotional, spiritual and practical care. End-of-life doulas are complementary to the role of family, friends, the interdisciplinary palliative and hospice care team, and spiritual care providers.
End-of-life planning is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself and your loved ones. Together, we will explore what it means for you to live and die well, how you would like to be cared for at the end of your life, and how you would like your loved ones to be taken care of after your death.
Jiaying (she/her) started her exploration into end-of-life work in 2013 through her involvement as a producer with Both Sides, Now, an arts-based community engagement project on end-of-life issues. After seven years working with the community, she founded Happy Ever After to connect directly with individuals to support them and their loved ones in navigating the complexities of life and death, love and loss, hopes and fears, laughter and tears.
She is a certified end-of-life doula with The Dying Year, and a certified Respecting Choices® 1st Steps Advance Care Planning facilitator. She is also a member of the National End-of-life Doula Alliance (NEDA), and is NEDA proficient.
